We are pleased to announce the appointment of Anjie Flowers as the new Chair of the Give Us Wings Board of Directors.
I am very excited to serve as the next Board Chair of Give Us Wings International. It has been very rewarding to serve on this Board and work with the exceptional staff. I appreciate the Board’s confidence in me to serve in this important role and I look forward to continuing our work to eradicate poverty in Eastern Africa. I would especially like to thank immediate Past Chair, David Thompson for his leadership, service and guidance through this transition.
Anjie currently works as the Deputy General Counsel at Minneapolis Public Schools. Prior to that she served as the Equality and Civil Rights Investigator and Assistant General Counsel at the District.
