Create Your Own Fundraiser

Get creative and launch your own fundraising event. You can change lives simply by raising money from friends and family. If you are considering training for a personal challenge, you can make your efforts even more impactful by ask family and friends to sponsor your next marathon, 10K road race, bike trek, or a Rim to Rim hike through the Grand Canyon.  Or, when your next birthday rolls around, ask your family and friends to give donations to Give Us Wings in lieu of gifts to you.

Volunteer in the U.S.

We love our volunteers. People who volunteer their time and talents are invaluable to Give Us Wings and integral to the success of our organization. You can help set up and manage various aspects of a fundraising event. We have many opportunities for those people interested in longer term volunteer opportunities, such as coming into the office weekly to help with office administration, donor communication, grant writing, graphic design and many other activities. There is always something going on at Give Us Wings, and we need you, your skills and energy!

Give Us Wings Volunteer Trips are service trips with an emphasis on creating connections between the travelers and our partners in Uganda. Give Us Wings has nurtured trusting relationships with the people we have been working for 20 years and when we return to the communities with volunteer travelers we are welcomed as old friends, creating awareness about poverty and development in rural communities in Uganda.
